  I'm so miserable since leaving the JWs

  i can barely stand it.

  does anyone else feel this way?.

  for instance, i have a four-day weekend from work, which means i had today off(with pay, thank you very much).

  thought I had to tell you "give it time" and you will start to enjoy LIFE but looks like you are doing it!!! must say sometimes - a lot - that thought goes through my head when I am happy!!! I think i was told I would never be happy if i wasn't part of this spiritual paradise!!! BS!!!

  i was told when i hit thirty and was catastrophising, "just wait till you are 40, it just gets better.".

  ha!.

  Circ. Ass. Last Weekend...oh boy!

  so i had to suffer through the ca last weekend, it was rough at 1st, i was actually sick to my stomach the night before, fortunately my little boy kept me occupied during the session and i got to walk around a lot.. the do cracked down on 'true christians' watching vampire movies aka....twilight.

  i know this series is hugely popular with a lot of teens and 20somthings, even a young elder and his wife (mostly the wife) are really into them.. he said true christians just don't watch such things.

  my last CA or DC was 2 years ago and i knew when I left that would be the last one!!! It felt so so good leaving! Part of me wouldn't mind sitting in one just to hear some BS that would make me laugh.... I find it amazing that adults would alow other people to tell them what to watch!!!

  What Stupid Things Were You Counseled For?

  i've always been told that i have a very good personality, that i'm humorous, etc.. one elder called me over and said that i was "smiling too much".

  the other elders talked to the elder who counseled me and he came back to say that i should be like i was .

  I've given 100's of blood transfusions, as a nurse, must say today I had my first "reaction"... I've seen it save many lives.... and even today's reaction i don't think will be a life altering problem....
